Nate Berkus

I feel so sorry for Nate Berkus! He has gone through so much, and it must be really tough because there is no one close by who has gone through a similar situation, unlike September 11, where support groups sprung up all over the place.

He lost his partner, Fernando Bengoechea, who seemed like he was as beautiful inside as he was outside, he observed horrific sights that most people will never see, and just going through the sheer terror of the event itself must cause post traumatic stress syndrome adding to grief he is suffering.

He has a lot of courage to go on Oprah and share his story, he seems to genuinely care about all of those who have suffered and still are suffering. They haven't found Fernando but assume he is dead and I keep hoping a miracle will happen and he will be found alive. I also, of course, pray for miracles for all the people who have lost so much when the ocean literally swallowed everything they had.
