America Needs to See More Youssifs

Nine months ago, masked men grabbed 5-year old Youssif outside his Baghdad home, doused him in gas and set him on fire. No, Americans did not directly cause this to happen to this poor little boy, and we'll never know for sure if this brutal act would have taken place if we had not invaded Iraq. We can be sure, that even if this specific individual occurrence was not caused by the United State's effort to "liberate" Iraq, there are thousands if not millions of incidents that are either directly or indirectly caused by our decision to "bestow democracy" and "free" Iraq from Saddam Hussein's barbarous rule.
