Zach PuchtelDespite his aspirations to become an NFL football player, Ex Minnesota Gophers basketball player, announced his sexual orientation (bisexual) to 3,000 people at a Harvard fashion show six months ago. He is one of only two NCAA Division One basketball players to come out in the history of NCAA basketball.






Gopher Hole: Do you think it will affect your future goals? Do you think the NFL will ever have an openly gay/bi-sexual player?

Zach Puchtel: Everything you do affects the future. I believe that they have no choice; it's discrimination if they don’t allow someone to play because of their sexual preferences
