A Day Without Yesterday
Approximately 80-years ago Georges Henri Joseph Édouard Lemaître, a Roman Catholic priest, professor of physics and an astronomer at the Université catholique de Louvain proposed what he thought was the origin of the Universe. He called his proposal the "hypothesis of the primeval atom" which later became known as the Big Bang theory.
“This is the most beautiful and satisfactory explanation of creation to which I have ever listened.” -- Albert Einstein in January 1933 after listening to Belgian mathematician and Roman Catholic priest Georges Lemaitre
Fast forward, 80-years later, and the technology may be available to prove him right.
