We Have to Start Paying Attention.

President Bush and the powers that be could not get away with the things they do without our "consent", even if that "consent" is without our knowledge. Consent implies that we knowingly and willingly allow for something to happen, but when our future and our children's future are at stake, ignorance is not an excuse, therefore saying and doing nothing is the same as giving our full permission.

Bush is supposed to serve "us", not the other way around, yet he feels very comfortable ruling autocratically right in front our eyes, even when everything in our Constitution makes it very clear that the President represents the people, not the other way around.

“We The People” have the power to demand accountability and transparency of the Executive branch. The Framers knew how important it was to incorporate checks and balances into our system of government preventing tyranny from becoming a possibility, but in order for the system to work properly it requires attention from the populace.
