Republican Strategy: Speak Untruth to Fools
The Republicans understand the truth doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is appealing to the masses or as Frank Dane says,
"Get all the fools on your side and you can be elected to anything."

Except for the very few, Mankind hates the Truth because reality is too much to deal with. However, Mankind loves to rely on the Lie because it gives releif, if only for a moment. It postpones the inevitable.
The "Lie" is crucial to man's survival, to distract him from what's to come...that in a very short time, he will not be.
