Hypocrisy of the "Heterossexuality as Institution" Gestapo

Zach Wahls, a son anyone would give their right arm, gives the best definition of family I've heard:

"...the sense of family comes from the commitment we make to each work through the hard times, so that we can enjoy the good ones.  It comes from the love that binds us.  That's what makes us a family." - Zach Wahls

Jesse Ventura on gay marriage: (interrupting Pat Buchannan, Thank God!) "You can't take a civil right's issue and put it up to a vote...if you did that, we might still have slavery if it was allowed to be voted on...You can't take civil rights and let people vote on it! [If you care what Pat had to say...listen for yourself..below] Well, not by the populace itself, Pat. You can't put a civil rights issue on a general ballot a state and let people vote on it because if you did that in the Southern states, you can bet they would've voted to continue slavery."

As Jesse said, the government has no right to legislate love, and in modern times, that's what marriage is based on: love between two consenting adults, pure and simple.

If the heterosexual marriage gestapo cares so much about the "institution" of marriage, let them start with their own marriages, and then heterosexual marriage in general. You know...take a look at the planks in their own eye. The problem is that there are so many, they're blinded.

I agree. The kid could be the poster child for gay families. Hell, could be the poster child for all families.

Even better...Jesse Ventura and this kid on the 2012 ticket.

From your lips to God's ears, lol. But I think our chances of spotting the Pope sporting a burka is much higher

Most of the truTV conspiracy information is nothing new.
We reported the World Trade Center Building 7 demolition
for the insurance money on our TV show more than a year ago.
Call for our free WTC 7 video – 612/529-5253
Ventura intros his truTV show by lying about being a Navy SEAL.
He wasn’t a SEAL and the photo of him on truTV is from the movie Predator.

Facts you should know about Jesse Ventura

- Ventura lied about being a Navy SEAL on active duty. He joined the SEAL Reserves after active duty. (Page 102).
- He lied about being in Vietnam. He told Dennis Anderson of the Minneapolis Star Tribune that “you haven’t hunted until you’ve hunted man”. Ventura was never in combat and he never hunted man.
- Bribed a candidate on July 17, 1998 so he could run unopposed in the Reform Party and keep his radio show. Call for free video of the actual bribe.
- Bribed Ramsey County Attorney Susan Gaertner to fix the 1998 bribe by giving a job to her boyfriend, John Wodele, as his Communications Director.
- Told single moms that they were on their own if they tried to get help.
- Told University of Minnesota students to “win if you can, lose if you must, but Always Cheat”.
- Insulted people who were religious or mentally ill.
- Killed caged birds at a game farm with Maria Shriver and Charlie Weaver.
- Endorsed “torture” of people at Highway 55 when 600-law enforcement (the largest police action in Minnesota history) arrested peaceful protesters trying to prevent demolition of homes for a road. Many protesters were handcuffed behind their backs and pepper sprayed in their eyes. (Page 4).
- Ventura took government money to go to school in Hennepin County and later told students that if they were smart enough to go to college they should be able to figure out how to pay for it.

To Leslie--

Hmmm...From my understanding, the SEALS had not merged with UDT yet, which he was a part of. In today's world, he would be a Seal, so, in a convoluted sort of way, he's not really lying. To be technical, his official title is UDT/Frogman

He, Jim the Dirty Janus , was assigned on UDT-12 together with his brother, Jan the Clean Janos, who was the total opposite of him...very reserved, and clean-cut. According to those who knew him at the time, Jesse's a bigger-than-life character, but a nice guy, underneath it all.

But yeah, Jesse's pure showman, and I'm sure he's put his foot in his mouth more than a time or two. Regarding the hunting comment, he did apologize. As for everything else, I don't know.

Oh and at AuthentiSEAL:

Here's what was said:

A source at the Naval Special Warfare Command states:
Our take is that Jesse Ventura is a SEAL. He even did his reserve time in SEAL Team ONE. He earned and wears the Trident....Captain Larry Bailey is probably the best guy to talk to about this, but OFFICIALLY, we think it's splitting hairs by Salisbury. The Navy considers Jesse Ventura to be a former SEAL. Hope that helps.

Captain Larry Bailey states:
Jesse Ventura went through UDT/SEAL Class 58 in 1970 and was assigned to UDT-12, where he spent three years (including three deployments to Subic Bay, Philippines). As a UDT frogman, he operated in Viet Nam waters and earned the US Viet Nam Service Ribbon. He undoubtedly, like so many UDT men of that era, went ashore in Viet Nam for short periods of time. After he was released from active duty in 1973, he joined Reserve SEAL Team ONE. The point here is that all graduates of BUD/S are referred to within the Naval Special Warfare community as SEALs. They received the same training, whether they went to SEAL Teams or Underwater Demolition Teams. The case made by Commander Salisbury on Fox News Channel recently is without merit; Jesse Ventura is a SEAL by any definition. Larry Bailey, Captain, USN (Ret.)

R.D. and Pam Russell, Co-Directors of Navel Special Warfare Archives state:
The official view point of the Archives is that Jesse was a SEAL. He completed BUD/S and the SEAL course in the desert. The West Coast used UDT as a manpower pool so they could pull people at any time without there being a training delay.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but
I find this matter to be actually something that I
think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and
extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your
next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
