Presumed Guilty: A Terrorist Around Every Corner.
The Department of Homeland Security has been criticized for profiling white middle class Americans in one of their new promotional videos (below). Of course, they deny such accusations. I tend to agree with - wait, hold for it - the DHS!
Instead, I believe the intention is to include white middle class Americans in their tiresome effort to spread the myth - tenfold - of a terrorist around every corner, when in reality Americans are just as likely to meet their end, drowning in a toilet bowl. The message: terrorists can be anyone, and; therefore, everyone is much more frightening than pigeon holing a select easily identified few. Brilliant strategy if not for the same wearisome ploys played time and again since 9/11.
