What does “National Interest” really mean?

National interest or national security doesn't really have meaning, other than to be a political tool for keeping the public uninformed. It’s a “highly flexible frame of reference” where simple explanations, or jingles are used to justify actions taken on behalf of this “national interest”. If one boils it down, “national interest” and/or “national security” means protecting the profits of western corporations.

The U.S. Intelligence Apparatus:

The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) was a US intelligence agency formed during World War II. It was the wartime intelligence agency, and it was a predecessor of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). The OSS was formed in order to coordinate espionage activities behind enemy lines for the branches of the US Armed Forces.

Truman didn’t trust the OSS because he thought it was dominated by parts of the Democratic party that he didn’t align himself with, so he abolished it. Subsequently,  a smaller intelligence agency was formed from the remains of the OSS called the Central Intelligence Group (CIG).   It was focused on analyzing intelligence rather than covert operations.

Two years later, in 1948, many of the agents who worked on the covert operations side--the paramilitary operations, black operations--were reestablished in an outfit called The Office of Policy Coordination (OPC) which eventually grew to have 5,000 agents in the early Cold War years. The existence of this office was entirely top-secret. It had no public existence at all. Several years later the OPC was folded into the CIA, which had both a black operations arm and a intelligence analysis arm.

At the same time, the OPC became operational, the National Security Council (NSC) approved a radical new policy. It secretly authorized the CIA to conduct programs which were officially non-existent, thereby passing the U.S. Congress. The NSC ordered that the new operations be deniable: “Planned and executed so that any U.S. government responsibility for them is not evident to unauthorized persons and that for those uncovered the US government can plausibly disclaim any responsibility.” (N.S.C. 10/2, 1948)  The OPC was set up to organize propaganda, economic warfare, preventive direct action, sabotage, demolition, subversion against hostile states, including assistance to underground resistance groups and support of indigenous anti-Communist elements in threatened countries of the free world (NSC 10/2, 1948)

Frank Wisner, former head of OSS, and a prominent Wall Street lawyer later became chief of black operations, and Allen Dulles, who prior to WWII, was an international trader became CIA director. From the beginning the CIA was steeped in elitism. Its top leadership were mostly Wall Street lawyers while new recruits were sought through the top Ivy League Universities.

Mercenaries and Dyncorp International

When Obama announced the withdraw of troops from Iraq, many Americans did not realize that thousands of mercenaries, funded by the U.S. taxpayer would remain in place. Far from saving cost, these private contractors have repeatedly robbed the U.S. taxpayer for millions of dollars. But from a military intelligence perspective, they serve multiple purposes: establish plausible deniability, further minimize congressional oversight, bypass rules of war such as the Geneva Convention, and create enormous profits for their benefactors.

A case in point is the extremely dangerous paramilitary, mercenary, private corporation named DynCorp International, who receives half its revenue from the DOD. Since its beginnings in 1946, it advertises itself as “a major government contractor for data processing, military operations and intelligence work.” DynCorp lists its primary “public sector clients” as: The Center for Disease Control (CDC), Department of Defense (DoD), Bureau of Census, Department of Education, Department of Energy, Department of Health and Human Services, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), U.S. Air Force (USAF), U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).

DynCorp International also provides training for police forces worldwide. It is the primary “private security force” in Iraq and provides top security for the CIA’s extensive poppy fields in Afghanistan. It also provided the security for New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. It is responsible for patrolling the U.S./Mexican Border, performs “essential services” in Colombia to known drug cartels, and of course – is deeply involved in the international “sex slave” trade.

In 2002, DynCorp was found to be working with the Serbian mafia in the trafficking of sex slaves including children. While all of this was going on Dyncorp kept its contracts with American government. In 2009, DynCorp was arranging sex parties for Afghan politicians involving small boys.

CIA/Nugan-Hand Operation

In Australia, in December 1972, the Labor Party was elected into office for the first time in 23 years, but the it would be brought down in a coup d'etat by the CIA in conjunction with MI6 and Australia’s own intelligence.

Unbeknownst to elected leader Prime Minister Gough Whitlam--who had enacted a series of reforms, including raises in wages, pension and unemployment benefits, free national health care, equal pay for women, the abolishment of tuition fees, new services for aboriginal peoples, and the replacement of “God Save the Queen” with Australia’s own national anthem in the first 100 days in office--Australian's intelligence security organization was working closely with the CIA, illegally passing on dossiers, concerning every member of the Labor Party as well as union leaders, peace activists and other Australian citizens. Most disturbing to Washington was the withdraw of Australia’s troops from Vietnam, the support of Palestinian rights, and the proposal of an Indian Ocean zone of peace. Worst of all Whitland hinted that he might shut down American military bases including Pine Gap.

“We were to become the paymasters of the CIA around the world. In other words, we were putting ourselves in the position to disburse funds for the CIA to whoever they directed... The idea was that the money would be deposited into the Nugan Hand Bank by the CIA through various channels, and also that the Nugan Hand Bank would be the repository for funds coming in for various CIA enterprises, namely drugs...then the Nugan Hand bank would be responsible for re-routing that money to an account in America ." -- Neil Evans, Former Bank Executive, Nugan Hand Bank, who claimed the CIA made millions to finance its secret projects

CIA director, William Colby petitioned his counterpart, Sir Maurice Oglefield stressing that Australia was traditionally Britain’s domain, and that if Pine Gap were closed the alliance would be blinded strategically.

“Australia is going to be increasingly important to the United States, and so long as Australians keep electing the right people then there'll be a stable relationship between the two countries." – ((A Secret Country,, p. 353).

“Australia gained the distinction of becoming the only country in the world to have supplied uranium for nuclear bombs which its Prime Minister allowed to be dropped by a foreign power on his own people without adequate warning." (A Secret Country, p. 168).

CIA How to Assassinate Guide:

Beginning with the ironic disclaimer, “Murder is not justifiable…” the agency’s “how to guide” on assassination goes on to state that

“Killing a political leader whose burgeoning career is clear and present danger to the cause of freedom may be held necessary…Persons who are morally squeamish should not attempt it .”

From there, the guide highlights potential methods:

“...the simplest local tools are often the most efficient… a hammer, a screwdriver, a fire poker, a kitchen knife, a lampstand, or anything hard, heavy and handy will suffice, like a rope, a wire, or a belt will do if the assailant is strong and agile.

For secret assassination, a contrived accident is the most effective technique. Once successfully executed, it causes little excitement and is only casually investigated. The most efficient accident is a fall of 75 feet or more onto a hard surface--elevator shafts, stairwells, unsecured windows and bridges will serve. Falls into the sea, or swiftly falling river can suffice if the subject cannot swim. Arson can cause accidental death if the subject is drugged and left in a burning building. Reliability is not satisfactory unless the building is isolated and highly combustible. If the subject drinks heavily, morphine or narcotic can be injected at the passing out stage and the cause of death will often be attributed to acute alcoholism....

Puncture wounds of the body cavity may not be a reliable unless the heart is reached. The heart is protected by the ribcage and is not always easy to locate. Absolute reliability is obtained by severing the spinal cord in the cervical region. This can be done with the pont of a knife. Or a hatchet. Another reliable method is the severing of both jugular and carotid blood vessels on both sides of the wind pipe…”.

Biometric Database of All Americans Buried in 800 Pages of Immigration Reform

Republicans and Democrats may not agree on much, but they certainly do agree on ever-increasing government intrusion and power.  One of the big problem with all the so-called "security” legislation created since 9/11 is that it, unquestionably, will be used against American citizens who stand up to power. That's already happening.

Our Orwellian government already tracks and monitors everything we do, but apparently the political class is not satisfied. Hidden in the 800 pages of immigration reform " is a mandate for the creation of a national biometric database of virtually every American (take notice that the question of fining the corporations for employing illegal immigrants never comes up, because corporations thrive on cheap labor and our government is all about keeping corporations profitable as possible).

"The immigration reform measure the Senate began debating yesterday would create a national biometric database of virtually every adult in the U.S., in what privacy groups fear could be the first step to a ubiquitous national identification system.

Buried in the more than 800 pages of the bipartisan legislation (.pdf) is language mandating the creation of the innocuously-named “photo tool,” a massive federal database administered by the Department of Homeland Security and containing names, ages, Social Security numbers and photographs of everyone in the country with a driver’s license or other state-issued photo ID.

Employers would be obliged to look up every new hire in the database to verify that they match their photo.

This piece of the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act is aimed at curbing employment of undocumented immigrants. But privacy advocates fear the inevitable mission creep, ending with the proof of self being required at polling places, to rent a house, buy a gun, open a bank account, acquire credit, board a plane or even attend a sporting event or log on the internet. Think of it as a government version of Foursquare, with Big Brother cataloging every check-in.

“It starts to change the relationship between the citizen and state, you do have to get permission to do things,” said Chris Calabrese, a congressional lobbyist with the American Civil Liberties Union. “More fundamentally, it could be the start of keeping a record of all things.”

For now, the legislation allows the database to be used solely for employment purposes. But historically such limitations don’t last. The Social Security card, for example, was created to track your government retirement benefits. Now you need it to purchase health insurance.

“The Social Security number itself, it’s pretty ubiquitous in your life,” Calabrese said.

David Bier, an analyst with the Competitive Enterprise Institute, agrees with the ACLU’s fears.

“The most worrying aspect is that this creates a principle of permission basically to do certain activities and it can be used to restrict activities,” he said. “It’s like a national ID system without the card.”

For the moment, the debate in the Senate Judiciary Committee is focused on the parameters of legalization for unauthorized immigrants, a border fence and legal immigration in the future.

Neo-Empire: The Myth of Pax Americana.

Empires are built on crushed armies, destroyed cities, incinerated crops, slaughtered herds, raped women, enslaved prisoners of war, oppressively over-taxed population, and even genocide. To the contrary of what we've been told, the American empire also rose out of these ashes. But ours is more of a neo-empire, built on neo-imperialism and/or neo-colonialism, which, allows for the husk or shell of independence--the illusion of independence--but takes the substance-- control over that nation's industry,  imports and exports and relationships with other nations.  We allow conquered countries to fly their own flag, use their own currency, speak their own language, on the condition that our military can enter at any time to do whatever we want.

The empire builders of today tell us "we’re" fighting for the security and survival of our nation. They tell us "we’re" fighting for democracy...to spread democracy. They tell us "we’re" fighting for humanitarian reasons. They tell us "we're" fighting to oppose dictators that we put in power.  If this is true, then why, the larger the military industrial complex gets, and the larger the security industrial complex gets, are we, the people finding ourselves increasingly less secure, less free, less humanitarian, not to mention, exceedingly falling under the absolute or supreme power of government?  And why, since the implementation of the Patriot Act I and II, the NDAA, super-advanced technology, unprecedented military power, more than 1,000 global military bases, not to mention trillion-dollar undeclared  "wars", not to mention, our domestic wars:  "war on terror",  "war on drugs" etc., do they continue to tell us the world is even more dangerous than ever?  The bottom line is there is only one beneficiary of empire, and it's not us as the following chart clearly demonstrates.

Cui Bono? To whose benefit is the empire arranged?

So now  the global establishment war drums beat for Syria, the new face of the "war on terror", or, it could be said, indirectly beating for Iran. The U.S. claims that if evidence surfaces showing Syria used chemical weapons...well, it's a game changer. Despite the fact that within the last decade,  the U.S./Israel has used depleted uranium and white phosphorus against Iraqi civilians.  Nevertheless, the telescopic sight or scope is being adjusted until the cross-hairs are centered on the bullseye: Syria in an on-going regional escalation. Perhaps WWIII.

Another Boston-Like Lockdown: Students Had to Use Buckets Instead of Bathrooms

Several schools in the Madison Wisconsin area went into lockdown after a Chicago fugitive, Paris Poe,  wanted for parole violation and questioning in a murder investigation, was spotted at a hotel in Madison, WI.  Poe had previously been imprisoned for armed robbery. Because of the sighting, a large area  was then locked down and swarmed with SWAT teams in what resulted in a day-long manhunt.

Reverse 911 calls were made to all landlines asking residents to lock their doors and remain inside. Police asked all the businesses in their area to close and lock their doors. All six schools in the area were placed on lockdown and surrounded by police. In Verona, no-one could enter or exit the schools. In some classrooms, children were told to crouch under their desks for hours.  Children were prohibited from using the bathroom, and were told to urinate in buckets.. Parents could not pick up their children since entry or exit was prohibited. Once the lockdown was ended, parents were required to present ID to take their children home.

Later in the day, Poe was arrested far outside the locked down area. He faces no charges in WI and will be transported back to IL.

All of this for a man wanted for questioning and a parole violation? I don't think so. More like any excuse to instill fear in the hearts of children and condition the people to accept "martial law" as the new normal.

"At this point there are only two possibilities. Either the Boston bombing was a false-flag, or it was a real act of terror. Personally, I am leaning towards false-flag; we are just waiting to see who (other than Muslims) gets framed for it. But if this was a genuine act of terror, what it tells us is that DHS, TSA, FBI, CIA, the Fusion centers, are all a complete waste of taxpayer money. All the databases, all the warrantless scanning of our emails, social media, phone calls, all the crotch-grabbing, cameras, microphones, GPS tracking, naked scanners, were totally and completely useless. Even the bomb sniffing dogs, on site in Boston supposedly for a training incident, failed to sniff the bombs. From top to bottom, the entire security industrial complex laid a big fat egg on this one. They failed, simply and utterly. And therefore, there is no more justification for the people of the United States to put up with this erosion of our Constitutional rights. Homeland Security Orders Enough Ammo to Sustain a 20 Year War in the Homeland.

The Department of Homeland Security has issued an open purchase order for 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition, much of it,* hollow point rounds, forbidden by international law for use in war. Moreover, the Department of Homeland Security is taking delivery of an undetermined number of the recently retrofitted 2,717 ‘Mine Resistant Protected’ MaxxPro MRAP vehicles for service on the streets of the United States.

The question is, why would any government purchase billions of rounds of ammo, militarize the police (Many local police departments, even some in very small communities, are being armed to the teeth by federal grants and military hand-me-downs. This includes drones and armored personnel carriers), while tracking every thing a citizen does, etc? Perhaps it's to secure the border between the U.S. and Mexico. Perhaps it's to drive up market price for consumers, and kill supply, back-door gun control, ammo control. Perhaps it's to neutralize domestic resistance if, let's say, the economy collapses entirely.

However, the real reason I'm posting this is not for the information, because the arms build-up by the DHS is basically old news--alternative media reported on this months ago--but because it comes from a so-called legitimate media source: FORBES.

When a hollow point round hits flesh it begins to spread open like a flower but the metal petals of this flower shaped round is razor sharp. Its a razor sharp pin wheel rotating through a body at 15,000 rpm. The hollow point creates all kinds of damage to its human target and actually whips the insides of a body like a cake mixer. It is intended to create horrible wounds that cannot be treated. Surgeons risk cutting their fingers while removing the razor sharp hollow point rounds or fragments of this bullet.

Homeland Security, Whistleblower Persecution, and OnStar Stasi

Fluent in many different languages including Farsi, Julia Davis worked as a Customs and Border Protection officer for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Right around July 4, 2004, specific intelligence alerts were issued as a “Date to Watch” and it was emphasized that this day was of paramount importance, because Al Qaeda leaders were purportedly planning to penetrate porous U.S./Mexico land borders.

Fast forward to that day, July 4, Julia detected and reported improperly processed entries of 23 aliens from designated terrorist countries into the U.S. The documents retrieved later confirmed that Al Qaeda members were indeed planning to strike on the date in question. So when DHS failed to act on this information, Julia made a report to the FBI. For doing her job as she was told and trained to do, Julia was subjected to retaliation of unprecedented proportions by the DHS.

Not only did DHS use OnStar--which has a feature installed that enables eavesdropping on unsuspecting motorists that's sophisticated enough to pick specific words out of a conversation, can remotely stop a vehicle, and is capable of transmitting the information to any government agency or corporate entity that wants it whether they subscribe to OnStar or not--to track her, and monitor her private conversations in her car, they conducted a commando-style raid of the Davis’ home with a Blackhawk helicopter and a Special Response Team. 27 DHS Agents and one U.S. Marshal assaulted the residence, breaking down the doors and brutally assaulting Julia’s parents to the point where Julia's father had a heart attack during the assault. He asked for help but received none. He died soon after.  He wasn't the only casualty.  Hollywood actress, Brittany Murphy, Brittany Murphy's husband, and Julia's 25-year old neighbor who videotaped the black helicopter assault have all died under very suspicious circumstances.



"Top Priority: The Terror Within” is the documentary that Julia Davis and her husband made.

“The Terror Within” explores issues that have sparked nationwide controversy such as the USA PATRIOT Act and illegal tactics improperly used against law-abiding Americans under the guise of “the war on terror”. Julia Davis, a former federal officer with the Department of Homeland Security, discovered and reported a breach of national security at the largest and busiest land border crossing in the U.S. on 4th of July, 2004. When the DHS failed to act on her reports, she took her concerns to the FBI/JTTF.

Numerous intelligence alerts designated Independence Day as the “date to watch” of special importance. Files found within Osama Bin Laden's compound in 2011 confirmed that the 4th of July was in fact a date of planned terrorist attacks on the United States. The DHS was quick to close Julia Davis’ reports with "no action" and without any investigation.

Instead of correcting the shortcomings exposed by Julia’s report, prompted by the heads of the Agency in Washington, DC, the Department of Homeland Security started to investigate her. They’ve opened a total of 54 investigations against Julia Davis. The Department of Homeland Security is notorious for its brutal retaliatory tactics against courageous whistleblowers. Julia Davis was falsely accused of being a “Domestic Terrorist” and an “illegal alien” in an attempt by DHS/ICE to deport and denaturalize her. The agency falsely claimed that Julia served in the Russian Army and was a convicted murderer.

The documentary details unprecedented magnitude of retaliation and abuses of the PATRIOT Act in the case of Julia Davis. It will show American taxpayers how the DHS spent their money on warrantless surveillance, including aerial surveillance with a Blackhawk helicopter and a fixed-wing airplane, wiretaps, sneak and peek burglaries, Internet monitoring and On-Star tracking of the Davis family.

“The Terror Within” is jam-packed with actual footage of the Blackhawk helicopter/Special Response Team raid of the Davis residence, videotaped accounts of witnesses and perpetrators as well as extensive evidence obtained from court records. More time, manpower and military might is utilized to attack Julia Davis than the number of US Navy SEALS on the ground during the assault of Osama Bin Laden's compound in Pakistan. The warrantless search of the Davis home lasted much longer than the search of Bin Laden's lair.

Risking Everything to Warn Americans About the Dangers of NSA Domestic Spying.

Following 9/11, the National Security Agency (NSA) began a top-secret surveillance program to spy on U.S. citizens without warrants. Code named "Stellar Wind" or "The Program," the full scope of the surveillance has not been made public.

William Binney, one of the whistle blowers risking everything to warn Americans about the domestic spying program worked for the NSA for 32 years and was known as the best mathematician and code-breaker in NSA's history. In July 2007, the FBI raided the homes of William Binney and two other NSA whistle blowers. Currently, the NSA is  building the country's largest data storage facility in Bluffdale, Utah, and Binney estimates that this structure will have the capacity to store over 100 years of the world's electronic communications.

The "USSID 18" stands for United States Signals Intelligence Directive. It is the is the NSA's top-secret manual of definitions and legal directives, the regulations which govern signals intelligence operations conducted by the United States government. According to USSID 18, you can spy on Americans--if it's approved by the Attorney General and there are very few occasions where the AG is allowed to grant permission. Think terrorist acts and grave dangers to lives, limbs and private property and there are no alternatives to  direct emergency efforts. Well, since 9/11 violations of this strict charter abound.

Has the Department of Homeland Security Declared God a Terrorist?

Apparently God is a terrorist.  Well, according to the Department of Homeland Security, anyway.  And, they must "protect:" us from His wrath.

Their pet project is called  Operation H.A.M.P.   It's the Hurricane Aerosol and Microphysics Program, an aerosol geoengineering operation intended to modify the direction and intensity of hurricanes.

However, in 2009 the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)  rebuffed DHS's efforts regarding Hurricane modification, but that did not deter DHS.

"So far, the lack of interest from NOAA, the government agency responsible for issuing official forecasts of hurricanes through its National Hurricane Center, has not stopped DHS from developing a plan for hurricane modification research and testing. William Laska, program manager for DHS's Advanced Research Projects Agency (HSARPA), which is spearheading the department's hurricane modification efforts, outlined a suggested road ahead at an April American Meteorological Society meeting on weather modification.

The plan envisions three research tasks beginning toward the end of 2010 and ending in early 2016: Evaluation of storm modification approaches via computer model simulations, development of concepts for potential field experiments, and full-scale testing of one or two of the most viable concepts. Total cost to carry out the plan was estimated at $64.1 million.

HSARPA confirmed the accuracy of information on its plans for hurricane modification research but declined to comment on the overall premise of this article. DHS's Office of Public Affairs did not respond to requests for comment.

The Schutzstaffel (translates to Protection Squadron or defense corps) was a separate, major paramilitary elite force independent of the intelligence and armed forces in Germany during WWII. I'm sure, at the time, it seemed like a good idea, but hindsight being 20/20, we all know how that turned out.

Fast forward to 2012 and it appears the the U.S. government is making contingency plans to deal with a worst-case, all-out-collapse scenario, or some type of event that they're not telling us about. Although, activities I posted below could potentially be chalked up to standard national security preparedness and contingency planning, there are some disturbing indicators that the U.S. government is preparing for something very specific.

Anyway, consider the following:

The recent graduation of Homeland or FEMA Corp (231 young people, aged 18-24). Recruited from the President's AmeriCorp volunteers, they represent the first wave of DHS's youth corps. This graduating class of potential junior storm-troopers is in addition to the private sector spy program a voluntary force of tens of thousands of civilians scattered across the country prepared to aid with instructions, shoot to kill if necessary in times of civil unrest.

Last month, the US House of Representatives passed HR 6566 which is an amendment of the Homeland Security Act that charges the Administrator of  FEMA “to provide guidance and coordination for mass fatality planning, and for other purposes.”

The DHS has been amassing an estimated 1.8 billion rounds of hollow point bullets through their agency; as well as the SSA, the NOAA, and the US Forest Service and other federal agencies, including the NEA. Tell me, why do these agencies need all that ammo?   Moreover, DHS put in a solicitation for 700 pounds of High Density Ammonium Nitrate and 700 pounds of A-5 Flake RDX, ingredients used for makeshift terrorist bombs, and bullet-resistant checkpoint booths.

At least 70 “Fusion Centers” run by the Department of Homeland Security are scattered across the nation, where data on the behavior of everyone, children in school, workplace gossip, emails, telephone calls, all became fodder for analysis and classification.

Then, there is DHS's new armored police and rescue vehicles. But, don't worry, they only ordered 2,500-3,000 of these MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) trucks for your protection, here in the US of A.

And lets not forget the endless executive orders from both the Bush and Obama administrations on top of the constitution shredding Patriot Act. 

It's not as if we don't already have local police, backed up by the National Guard, backed up by the Department of Defense.Why does the DHS need its own army? Why do the SSA, NOAA, NEA, etc. need millions of  hollow point bullets?

So is America crossing over from police state status to that of a Nazi-esque State?

To be sure, if the shit should hit the fan, government officials will stop at nothing to gain control. If you're not convinced, just google Occupy [insert institution here] video and see the response to very passive protestors. Now imagine massive civil unrest, millions of Americans taking to the streets because the economic/social/political system has collapsed making essential goods scarce or priced so high, they might as well not exist or some other ghastly event, such as biological terrorism.

The scary part is that it's well known that a private army is necessary to control the unwashed masses over which they force their rule.

Is Economic Armageddon on the Horizon?

 George Soros seems almost hopeful. He's buying up all the gold, and off-loading all of his equity positions in major financial stocks. Take a look at the 13-F report he filed with the SEC.  Moreover, billionaire John Paulson, who made $20 billion off the sub-prime mortgage meltdown, is also going gold crazy.  Not to mention the central banks. They're buying up gold in great quantity. In fact, central bank gold demand doubled since last quarter!

So Soros is backing up his words of warning, stated in Newsweek, with action in more ways than one. Let's not forget Soros's Management Fund purchased enough grain elevators and food production sites to become the third largest conglomerate in the food industry in the U.S.

“I am not here to cheer you up. The situation is about as serious and difficult as I’ve experienced in my career,” Soros tells Newsweek. “We are facing an extremely difficult time, comparable in many ways to the 1930s, the Great Depression. We are facing now a general retrenchment in the developed world, which threatens to put us in a decade of more stagnation, or worse. The best-case scenario is a deflationary environment. The worst-case scenario is a collapse of the financial system.”

As anger rises, riots on the streets of American cities are inevitable. “Yes, yes, yes,” he says, almost gleefully. The response to the unrest could be more damaging than the violence itself. “It will be an excuse for cracking down and using strong-arm tactics to maintain law and order, which, carried to an extreme, could bring about a repressive political system, a society where individual liberty is much more constrained, which would be a break with the tradition of the United States.”

However, there are even more disturbing signs and/or clues that indicate economic collapse may be closer than we think. In addition to the billionaires and the central bank gold grab, here are some more interesting occurrences that make you go hmmm:

1. U.S. banks told to make plans for preventing collapse -- Uhm, shouldn't banks already have recovery plans? Banks are pulling in record profits right now, but you can bet your bottom dollar that should we see another economic collapse in the near future, the banks will be first in line for handouts, despite what this article reports.

U.S. regulators directed five of the country's biggest banks, including Bank of America Corp and Goldman Sachs Group Inc, to develop plans for staving off collapse if they faced serious problems, emphasizing that the banks could not count on government help.

2. The fed's plan to raise capital requirements for the banking industry in September. According to Mark Adams JD/MBA, in a comment he made regarding the possibility of a banking crisis, he said,

"an increase in the reserve ratio will cause many banks to become under-capitalized with the stroke of a pen thereby causing a banking crisis which will result in another bailout for the big banks, another consolidation of power in the banking industry, another tightening of credit for main street, another economic crash, and austerity for the rest of us.
[...]
I'll explain what going from a reserve capital ratio of 4% to 6% will do. With a capital ratio of 4%, a bank can lend $25,000 for each $1,000 of capital which includes funds raised through stock offerings, retained earnings and deposits. With a capital ratio of 6%, a bank can lend $16,667 for each $1,000 in capital. Since banks produce earnings by lending, most banks want to lend as much as is allowed, so this increase in the reserve ratio will immediately cause most banks to become undercapitalized thereby needing to be taken over and bailed out. After the new rule takes effect, banks that are lending more than 2/3rds of what is currently allowed will be undercapitalized, so that is most banks."

3. 611 bankster resignations in seven months -- American Kabuki posted  each and every one of them from 9/1/11 to 4/22/12...from world banks to investment houses to money funds to etc.

4. Homeland Security pursuit of crowd surveillance -- Are they expecting crowds to gather? And if so, why?

5. Multiple agencies of the federal government have ordered and are stockpiling millions of rounds of hollow point bullets -- While it's true, Fox News is reporting that it is not for potential civil unrest, but is "standard issue" and simply used for mandatory federal training sessions. However, as Maj. Gen. Jerry Curry pointed out, cheaper firing range bullets are used for practice and training.

Hollow point bullets are so lethal that the Geneva Convention does not allow their use on the battle field in time of war. Hollow point bullets don’t just stop or hurt people, they penetrate the body, spread out, fragment and cause maximum damage to the body’s organs. Death often follows." -- Maj. Gen. Curry

Moreover, Curry added that during the Iraq War the U.S. military used 70 million rounds of ammunition per year. Compare that with the 450 million rounds of hollowpoint bullets ordered in March by the Department of Homeland Security, and the additional 750 million rounds of hollow point bullets (DHS) ordered recently. That's over 1 billion hollow points in less than six months! 

RoninMaximus sums it up:

"What has largely been DELIBERATELY ignored by the media – though, I know full well they are more than aware – is that these thieves were insolvent when they were given trillions of US taxpayer money in the heist that was called a financial crisis in ’08. What the banks have done, along with their criminally complicit politicians is to craft the biggest fraud and the subsequent transfer of wealth in man’s history…using the outrageous and audacious fear tactic of too big to fail. The truth is, what was too big to allow to fail was the lie most all of the actors involved knew about and perpetuated.

The derivatives market is where the banks have been gambling away unabated since said financial crisis came to light in the first place. They’ve continued to manipulate the prices of the commodities market to keep their collective theft on going with Wall Street and Washington cheering it on. This is criminal, pure and simple and the government is attempting to quietly prepare militarily to deal with “we the people” when it becomes plainly apparent this ponzi scheme called the central bank is seen for what it is: An engine of theft and destroyer of the middle class’s wealth.

In Lies We Trust: CIA Hollywood and Bioterrorism

One has to wonder why the more technologically advanced we become, the more our quality of life declines, from health to loss of freedoms.  The marriage between economic and political interests, government and private industry, directed secretly by covert intelligence is one explanation. 

We inherited Hitler's biological warfare program through "Operation Paperclip" doctors and scientists who went to work for the military to continue the work they started under Hitler.  One of those doctors, was Eric Traub, Hitler's top biological weapons developer.

In the early 1990s, from the US Army War College, came "Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA)." Two decades after the 1963 Iron Mountain Report came out, this document asks the question, How do we control the American people and beyond if we move to an era of permanent peace?

Command and Control Warfare (C2W). Iraq, starting with Desert Storm, became a sort of 'battle laboratory' for the RMA.

The big concern was that these new systems of control may run contrary to American values. So, they employed the media to do their dirty work: condition we, the people to accept their value system; thus, accept their new wars, and methods of conducting war.

Colorado, Massacres, Superheroes, and Spooks, Oh My!

What is it about the apparently "random", indiscriminate killing of a large number of human beings in a rather upscale part of our nation? That is, Denver, Colorado.

Jeff Kass, author of “Columbine: A True Crime Story,” and article in the Examiner, "Columbine and Aurora Theater Shootings Evil Twins?" concluded it might have something to do with a "culture of honor". A search for the common denominators in school shootings across the country drove me to spend 10 years researching my book “Columbine: A True Crime Story.”

I believe a concept known as “culture of honor” is one of the key factors that compelled a core group of school shootings.

The South and the West of the United States have a “culture of honor” that infuses people with the belief that if you feel your honor has been violated, you feel it is appropriate to retaliate with violence. I argue that school shooters, who often see themselves as outsiders, feel their honor has been violated.

While, that may partially factor into what's behind the - relatively speaking - frequently occurring bloodbaths in Colorado, I believe, based on the research of Bill Zabel, Evan Long, and Rolf Zaeschmar that something far more sinister may underlie these occurrences, perhaps, a "culture of heraldry", in all its various states of definition.

Let me explain using the Columbine massacre as a template.  According to Zabel, Denver Colorado, is home to a vast number of either, employees of defense contractors - Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Comcast, which has a division in the Littleton area that houses NSA offices, and supposedly, does a lot of classification stuff - and former and active military intelligence, CIA, and FBI agents, including Dylan Klebold's father, Thomas Klebold, who Zabel saw in a BBC clip, in full uniform after the incident, on the scene. The BBC caught three vehicles, headed by a state trooper car, followed by a big panel black van followed by a green minivan. The camera pans the passenger side of the green mini-van there he saw Thomas Klebold, who he spoke to during the hearing.

Eric Harris' father, Wayne, was a decorated Air Force pilot and intelligence operative who moved from Air Force base to Air Force base. His last stop before he retired and the family moved to Littleton was Plattsburgh Air Force Base. At Plattsburgh, Harris complained to friends that he was being forcefully drugged on the base and one researcher/scientist at the base told an alternative news organization that he was one of the many "guinea pigs" of an MKULTRA-type project being run at the base. Harris had been born in Kansas, where his father worked at a Boeing plant involved in black operations/projects. When they moved to Littleton, his "retired" father took up a job with FlightSafety, Inc. (Which would later train one of the alleged 9/11 hijackers), a military contractor. There, he taught people how to fly large refueling jets -- a type of aircraft used mostly, if not only, by people in the military. Aurora is home to a large Defense Department satellite intelligence operation at Buckley Air Force Base.

In the military, you have a top-down tiered system. The first team is the front team. The second team is cleanup. The third team is the most secretive team, the administrative team. They handle the media, the victims, local law enforcement. In other words, three teams working in layers. Harris and Klebold, were the main actors, possibly set up for two years to do this. Then you have the real shooters, the trenchcoat mafia, and then the black-op military cleanup team. The public, semi-public, and the private team. Even mainstream media "activist" Michael Moore admits to the overwhelming presence of the military industrial complex in the Denver area.

If Columbine was a cover-up, and all the evidence points to that being the case, the complicity of some of the parents, students, and the Columbine/Littleton population would be required. For most of us, that idea is absurd; however, as Zabel pointed out, the Columbine community is primarily an evangelical “Christian” group; however, once inside many of the homes, he found Satanic literature, and symbols. In other words, he found a very present occult "side" to the town and school.

From the news footage of that day, Bri Pasquelle, who had been in the library at the time, said, “Oh my God, the parents were involved.” On April 23, 1999, Bri Pasquelle said on Fox News, “the guy that shot in our direction looked like Dylan Klebold, only older.”

It was also reported that several of the teachers at Columbine may have been complicit. Judy Greco, the special-ed teacher, according to Zabel, is an admitted Wiccan who stated that she used a military-grade device to put her class under a "trance", and she helped Klebold and Harris with the basement tapes that are still sealed to this day.

The discrepancies between the "official" story, and actual eyewitness testimony, government documents, especially the 11,000 page report (11K), abound, as is starting to occur in the Batman movie massacre.

Eyewitness accounts, and government documents in the Columbine case report several additional shooters (The Denver Rocky Mountain News reported that dozens of witnesses reported that there were "five-to-eight" shooters); additional dead; additional injured; time line discrepancies; evidence not consistent with official reports; and the destruction of evidence - including all of the output from the fire alarm and water sprinkler system, all of the videotape evidence, all of the receipts from the school store and cafeteria because they have a time-roll on them, etc.

Other interesting bits of information:

• At approximately, 4:30 PM, a 4-star general pops out of the sewer grate that connected to a tunnel that led to the school's underground, right there in the news footage that was seen on local news, but edited for CNN.
• A mock lock-down shooting event drill one week prior to the event.
• "Men in black"-style feds were seen in the halls of the school at 9 AM -- two hours before the start of the shooting.
• The shooting that allegedly ended at noon, when the two boys were said to have committed suicide in the library (Which no one saw), the Denver Post reported that shots rang out inside the school at 3:45 PM.
• NATO vans were observed at the school by a number of witnesses, as were high-ranking military officials, including that four-star general.
• The final report stated that Harris and Klebold brought 95 bombs into the school, including large, heavy 20-pound propane tanks, which were, according to initial reports, "too sophisticated" for them to have built. It would appear to be absolutely impossible for two boys to transport 95 bombs into the school and plant them without being caught.

Sheriff John Stone, who also reported being "outgunned by the shooters", told CBS News while being interviewed,

“My investigators have destroyed the official timeline leading up to and during the massacre including the associations and movement of the suspects.”

Why? Possibly, to cover a wide time-frame, because cops always leave a narrow time-frame open within a couple of minute to a half hour because it’s all but impossible to pinpoint an exact time.

What about the footage in Michael Moore’s Columbine? Those tapes went to the FBI lab at Quantico before the public ever saw them. Rich Price of the FBI, on the news, said, “We enhanced the footage from the cafeteria". According to Zabel, trained in film and video post production, if you blow that footage up on an avid workstation, you can see little pixels around Harris and Klebold that when they move, in slow motion, change color, which they should not if they were in that frame originally as they were walking around that cafeteria.

Moreover, after Zabel finished reading law enforcement reports, he discovered that they were all typed up. Why is that a problem? He found out that in order to be authentic, or used in court, reports must be handwritten by witness or victim, signed and dated. Out of 2,000 witnesses, only a dozen handwritten testimony remained.

In the witness typed statements, in statement after statement, it was stated the shooting started at 11:21 A.M as if they all knew the exact time. Witnesses almost never know the exact time, down to the minute.

In addition, all of the autopsy reports are sealed.

It's also interesting to not that, regarding the Batman movie shooting, the Denver Post reports that Colorado university staged an identical exercise the same day in which students were trained how to react to a gunman firing at people in a movie theater.

Waiving Every Single Privacy Law Ever Enacted in the Name of Cybersecurity

In spite of protest from the Obama administration - we know how that goes - the House of Representatives approved the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) one day ahead of schedule. This controversial bill will give the government additional levers to monitor the Internet.

Once again, unnecessarily broad definitions, and its potential to waive every single privacy law ever enacted in the name of cybersecurity makes CISPA a very controversial bill. It would give the government the ability to circumvent internet privacy laws, obtaining information on users from private companies – providers, hosting companies or social networks – or any company involved in the Internet.

Q: Is CISPA worse than SOPA?

For all its flaws, SOPA targeted primarily overseas Web sites, not domestic ones. It would have allowed the U.S. attorney general to seek a court order against the targeted offshore Web site that would, in turn, be served on Internet providers in an effort to make the target virtually disappear.

It was kind of an Internet death penalty targeting Web sites like ThePirateBay.org, not sites like YouTube.com, which are already subject to U.S. law.

CISPA, by contrast, would allow Americans' personal information to be vacuumed up by government agencies for cybersecurity and law enforcement purposes, as long as Internet and telecommunications companies agreed. In that respect, at least, its impact is broader.

Protests Against Government Outlawed.

The US House of Representatives voted 388-to-3 in favor of H.R.347 - Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011, a bill that gives the government power to bring charges against Americans engaged in political protest anywhere in the country. The right of American citizens to peacefully assemble and petition government for a redress of grievances has been abolished by outlawing protests where key government officials or other VIP's gather. In other words, this bill criminalizes dissent.

What makes the passing of this bill even worse is that it follows directly on the heels of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 that allows for indefinite detention of Americans, which followed the extension of the Patriot Act, allowing the government to seize records and conduct secret surveillance on Americans, even though they have no known connections or ties to terrorist groups.  

As in Weimar Germany, our fundamental rights and freedoms are being repealed under the same pretext: that democracy is threatened and must be protected. But who is it that's really threatening our democracy?  On top of the police state legislation, the US today has 1,271 government organizations and 1,931 private companies working on programs related to counter-terrorism, homeland security and intelligence. A recent Washington Post investigation warned the our top secret world has become “so large, so unwieldy and so secretive that no one knows how much money it costs, how many people it employs, how many programs exist within it, or exactly how many agencies do the same work.”

The Department of Homeland Security has asked the public to report suspicious activity through the “Communities Against Terrorism” program. if you visit an airport, stay in a hotel, drink coffee at an Internet café, or in some other way interact with one of the Halloween G-men in the American public, a full-fledged FBI investigation is only one phone call away, says LaTi.

US Dept of Homeland Security Headquarters, Washington DC, Phase 1

Since the creation of the Office of Homeland Security 11 days after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the Department Homeland Security (DHS) has more than 230,000 employees. The problem is they do not have an official home.

So, in an effort to consolidate the Department of Homeland Security's workforce, now scattered across 55 campuses, into a central headquarters, a huge construction project is underway, the largest one in the country.  Pictured above is phase 1 of the new DHS headquarters on the campus of  what used to be St. Elizabeths psychiatric hospital, the nation's first major federally run psychiatric institution founded in 1852. It is located in southeast section of Washington, DC.  This project is the largest federal project since the Pentagon.

Thankfully, this huge project has been pushed back 5-years:

Originally, the DHS headquarters plan carried a price tag of $3.45 billion and aimed to relocate 14,000 workers from more than 180 offices to the campus of the former St. Elizabeths Hospital in Southeast Washington by fiscal 2016. But, according to December projections, the project will cost at least $3.96 billion and won't be complete until the end of fiscal 2021, delaying the relocation of more than 10,000 workers by up to five years. Only the Coast Guard headquarters is expected to be completed on schedule in spring 2013.

Thankfully, because this is the same agency that has an $11 million contract with General Dynamics to monitor Web activity, social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and  news sites. The only reason we even know about this is that the Electronic Privacy Information Center obtained 300 documents through a Freedom of Information Act request which detailed how DHS had hired an outside contractor, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, to monitor social media outlets along with a list of websites, on a “24/7/365 basis,” in order to uncover “any media reports that reflect adversely on the U.S. Government and the Department of Homeland Security.” DHS has been surveying public online posts since as early as 2006.

The monitoring involves looking at “publicly available online forums, blogs, public websites and message boards, and disseminate information to "federal, state, local, and foreign government and private sector partners." - EPIC

Can you imagine the power DHS will have consolidated in an area that has the potential to house 60,000 employees?

Domestic Use of Drones Already In Progress Surely to Increase Exponentially

Unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) or drones were designed for military purposes; however, as the barrage of legislation unleashed since 9/11  that, for the most part, greatly empowers our government against us, leaving  the very distinct impression that United States, Inc. is at war with the United States of America, continues, and as "geriatric jihadists," or "waffle house terrorists" who can barely make it up a flight of stairs, are being spied on, assaulted and locked up for thought crimes they're not even capable of,  utilization of these "under the radar" aircraft in civilian airspace should come as no surprise.  If you happen to be a private pilot, watch out! These stealthy things could be lurking just about anywhere. 

Anyway, the Army issued a new directive to govern the growing use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) or drones within the U.S. for training missions and "domestic operations”  (the maps above and below, taken from this 2010 report, clearly show the present and future UAS locations). Army Directive 2012-02 is a revised policy on UAS operations to support “expanded UAS access to the National Airspace System.”

But this is nothing new.  Since 2010 the FAA had already issued hundreds of “certificates of authorization” (COAs) for the domestic use of drones.

“Right now, today as we sit here, we have 251 certificates of authorization for unmanned aircraft, 140 of them are DOD related. We have not rejected or denied any DOD COAs in 2010, and we keep moving forward.” -- Hank Krakowski of the FAA at an informative Senate hearing in September 2010.

As EFF attorney, Jennifer Lynch says, "The use of drones in American airspace could dramatically increase the physical tracking of citizens – tracking that can reveal deeply personal details about our private lives.”

EPIC Lawsuit Demands Details About DHS Covert Social-Networking Surveillance

The Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), has filed suit in US District Court against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The grounds for the suit is a refusal by DHS to reply to a Freedom of Information Act request filed by EPIC in April of this year,  as well as to acknowledge EPIC as news media, and to pay EPIC’s legal bills for the suit.

EPIC is trying to force disclosure of the details in the DHS Social Media Monitoring Networking Program where they will monitor public postings on Twitter and Facebook.   DHS plans to create fictitious user accounts -  fake accounts on social networking sites - and scan posts of users for specific keywords, and then that user data will be stored and analyzed and then disseminated to federal, state, local, and foreign governments and private sector partners,” according to an EPIC court filing.

A few “key” words DHS plans to include are: “diseases” “bio weapons” “human to animal” “outbreak” “illegal immigrant”

DHS will use this information gathered without a warrant from online forums, blogs, public websites, and message boards to establish a system of records that can be easily accessed for whatever reason.

1033 Program: Putting Battlefield-Grade Weaponry in the Hands of Cops

If you have any doubt as to whether "our" government views its citizenry as its greatest enemy, or that the U.S. is/will become a “combat zone”, consider - in addition to all the recently created legislation and executive orders designed to target American citizens - the 1033 program. What is that? Well, it  "permits the Secretary of Defense to transfer, without charge, excess U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) personal property (supplies and equipment) to state and local law enforcement agencies (LEAs)." In 2011 alone, the Pentagon gave over $500 million of military gear to LEAs.

Thanks to it, cops in Cobb County, Ga. - one of the wealthiest and most educated counties in the U.S. - now have an amphibious tank. The sheriff of Richland County, S.C., proudly acquired a machine-gun-equipped armored personnel carrier that he nicknamed "The Peacemaker."

This comes on top of grants from the Department of Homeland Security that enable police departments to buy vehicles such as "BearCats" - 16,000-pound bulletproof trucks equipped with battering rams, gun ports, tear-gas dispensers and radiation detectors. To date, more than 500 of these tanklike vehicles have been sold by Lenco, its Massachusetts-based manufacturer, according to a report in the Orlando Sentinel.

So, it's not enough that we have the liberty-crushing Patriot Act, the grandma-and-child-molesting TSA, the gestapo DHS, and bill after bill that practically encourages military action within the borders of our own nation; we also have the Pentagon transforming our "protect and serve" police into intimidating Rambo-like soldiers.
