Once Again the U.S. is Fomenting War.

The United States is sending heavy weapons--mortars, rocket-propelled grenades and anti-tank missiles -- from Libya to jihadist Syrian rebels.  Not that this should come as any surprise considering our history of covertly facilitating upheaval, unrest and destabilization of nations, from Operation Gladio, which, controlled by the CIA and Britain’s MI6, orchestrated terrorist attacks in Western Europe, which were blamed on Communist entities to Operation Cyclone, the program to arm and finance the Mujahideen during the Soviet war in Afghanistan, 1979 to 1989, to Iran-Contra where the Reagan administration used proceeds from arms sale to Iran to fund the right-wing Contras in an effort to overturn Nicaragua’s democratically elected, Sandanista government.

"The Americans have bought some of the weapons from the stockpiles of Muammar Gadaffi, the Libyan dictator killed last year. They include SA-7 missiles, which can be used to shoot down aircraft.
According to Fox News, Ambassador Chris Stevens, murdered on the anniversary of 9/11, while on a highly secretive U.S. mission in Benghazi was really there to "to negotiate a weapons transfer in an effort to get SA-7 missiles out of the hands of Libya-based extremists."

Moreover, supposedly, leaked documents from the Saudi Interior Ministry show that criminals convicted of drug trafficking, murder and rape have been given a choice to fight in Syria. Documents show that 105 Yemenis, 21 Palestinians, 212 Saudis, 96 Sudanese, 254 Syrians, 82 Jordanians, 68 Somalis, 32 Afghans, 194 Egyptians, 203 Pakistanis, 23 Iraqis, 44 Kuwaitis had taken up the offer of a death row pardon.

After arming Libyan rebels and taking out their leader, we're now arming Syrian rebels.  Why are we supporting Islamic extremists--the very people the U.S. government pegs as terrorists--to overthrow Assad?

Again, this is nothing new. The not-so-mainstream media has been reporting this for a very long time.

Manufacturing Dissent: The Truth About Syria.

With propaganda at its peak, western imperialism,  always carried out under the false pretense of “humanitarian intervention” and “responsibility to protect” kills more people, and ruins more lives--not to mention sovereignty of nations--than all of the so-called terrorists, we're supposed to fear, put together.

So who's really killing Syrian civilians? Well, if you listen to mainstream media, it's the Syrian government, but if you listen to Syrian civilians and Syrian journalists, it's mostly armed foreign groups--death squads--who are responsible. The same ones who operated in Libya.

The 2010 Unconventional Warfare Manual of the US Military states:

“The intent of US unconventional warfare efforts is to exploit a hostile power’s political, military, economic and psychological vulnerabilities by developing and sustaining resistance forces to accomplish US strategic objectives. For the foreseeable future US forces will predominantly engage in irregular warfare operations.”

“The media is the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and the guilty innocent, and that’s power. Becasuse they control the minds of the masses.” - Malcolm X

What Do North Dakota and Libya Have in Common?

We have a confused understanding of the federal money system because we base it on what we know about our own personal bank account, and we were never taught that the federal system does not operate in the same way. If you look at a chart of historical national debt and compare it to a chart of national money supply, they're the same. They both go up at the same rate. Why? Because the federal debt IS our money supply. Our money is credit and debt.

The federal government can initiate the supply of money by writing checks (debits in fed acct) that directly jumpstarts our economy. When the government writes checks to its employees, for real goods and services, that shows up as credits in real people's accounts that they, in turn, spend into the economy. The federal government can also write checks for infrastructure, which shows up as credits in commercial accounts, and creates jobs, thus creating credits in real people's accounts that they can spend into the economy.

States can create their own credit, as well. North Dakota is the only state that escaped the credit crisis. They own their own bank, which partners with the local banks and keeps credit moving within the state. So, why aren't all 50 states taking control of their money supply in the same way? Well, this would greatly threaten the international banking cartel (ibc). And, when you threaten the ibc, you end up like Libya, who had the nerve to create their own central bank that issues the money and issues credit for the nation's infrastructure, interest free; therefore, they had the lowest debt to GDP ration in the world.

However, unlike the political leaders in North Dakota, Khadaffi was trying to mobilize all of the African countries to follow his lead, while setting up an African monetary fund that would compete with the International Monetary Fund.

So, yes, we have the money to do anything we want to do. That's what money is: the credit of the nation, and the nation can advance the credit for what it needs to do.

What Would Debbie Downer Say?

Source:
America:  Osama Bin Laden's dead!  President Obama's the man!

Debbie: Until Fox News twists this to make Bush the hero. According to redstate.com, it's thanks to President Bush because of his “enhanced interrogation techniques” at Guntanamo Bay Prison that Osama is dead.

America:  Well, whatever the story is, it's the first time in a long time that all is right with the world!

Debbie:  Good thing that the millions of  lives lost/destroyed, the trillions of dollars spent, the implementation of "Big Brother" type surveillance/loss of our 4th amendment rights,   unmanned predator drones, piloted by gamers,  the shredding of our Constitution, unemployment, the foreclosure crisis, the bankster's plundering of the economy, is all behind us. Right?

America:  Right! It's a good thing that we water-boarded Khalid Sheikh Mohammed because that's how we got the information that killed Osama.  This is pay-off! It's time to get out the kilts and bagpipes, prepared speeches, glow sticks, and head down to Ground Zero!

Debbie:  I wonder if any of  the sick and fallen 9/11 heroes will be able to make it.  Probably not. The ones who have not yet succumbed to toxic WTC dust are too busy trying to prove they're not terrorists.

America:  Yeah, too bad for them, but, now that our bad-ass military brought down Osama, those sick and fallen heroes have not suffered in vain. For the first time in a long time, our future looks bright!

Debbie:  The  nuclear hell-storms that al-Qa'ida plans to unleash according to WikiLeaks should make it very bright. The Islamists vow bin Laden death will not mute Jihad call.  I'm sure the Department of Defense, Homeland Security and TSA are getting ready to roll out plans to escalate  the use of torture, fire up more predator drones, ratchet up the surveillance state, and...

America:  Alrighty then, well, it's May...no worries about frost interfering with our celebrations...

Debbie: Mr. Frost interviewed Benazir Bhutto in November of 2007, before she was murdered. She told him, Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh – one of those convicted of kidnapping and killing U.S. journalist Daniel Pearl - murdered Osama Bin Laden.

America: You know what, Debbie? You're really taking a royal crap on our celebration of Osama's death. We, the people completely held our tongue when you showed us pictures of dead Iraqi babies, and we didn't say one word when you went on and on about the NATO strikes that took out a school for disabled children in Libya...

The US government, as Paul Craig Roberts said, has an  "unlimited belief in the gullibility of Americans".

Treasonous Oil Spikes

It's hard to rile up the Snooki-obsessed American public. Three wars, the continued plundering of the US economy by the ruling class, growing unemployment, and the emerging "security-industrial complex," aren't enough to wake up the Snooki-watchers. But, do you know what will? The skyrocketing cost at the pumps. And, whether they know it or not, with good reason.

As the "humanitarian" war in Libya pushes oil - the lifeblood of the US economy - above $112 barrel, with no immediate prospect of relief, gasoline prices, will most likely hit $5 a gallon, shortly. Here is the thing. It's even worse than most Americans realize. You see, thanks to globalization, rather than those oil/gasoline profits returning to the stream of purchasing power, investment, and/or capital-building, therefore, possibly adding redemptive value to the much loathed price increase -  insofar as those profits might serve to create jobs, and increase consumption -   a good portion of those profits have left/will leave the country, thus, fleecing the US taxpayers once more.

Therefore, not only does this price surge - especially when you add in the rising costs of food, and other petroleum products - make it even tougher for average Americans to make ends meet in this "more fragile than reported" economy, the rising cost of petroleum will suck approximately $300 billion out of the US economy, according to economist Bob Chapman.

Locals gathered in front of the hotel that will host the meeting between a delegation of African leaders and Libyan rebels on today to broker a ceasefire between Qadhafi and the opposition, but rebel leadership rejected the plan because it did not stipulate the Libyan leader would step down.

The crowd in this photo looks like it could be CGI.  But, of course, it isn't.

French President Sarkozy's Mediterranean Union Cause of Libyan War?

The French were one of the first to say there should be a military no-fly zone over Libya. The reasons are threefold. However, I will focus on the Mediterranean Union only.

Unbeknownst to many, in 2008, French President Nicolas Sarkozy had planned to unite the 44 countries that border the Mediterranean in, what he said, was an effort to boost economic, political, and cultural ties with the EU's southern neighbors, and to reinforce the geopolitical weight of France.  In reality, his motivations, more than likely "lie elsewhere".

John Laughland of the Brussels Journal pointed out:
The plan, indeed, bears some resemblance to the “Greater Middle East” project favoured by the American neo-conservative strategists. Although the membership of the two proposed bodies is different (the Greater Middle East encompasses Arabia, Iran, Central Asian states and even Afghanistan and Pakistan) the ideology is the same: supranational and anti-national. The idea is to neutralise the Arab-Israeli conflict by “integrating” the Middle Eastern countries into a single political unit, rather as the Franco-German conflict was allegedly neutralised by the creation of the European Community. For there is nothing the neo-cons want to neutralise more than Arab nationalism.

Even more striking is the resemblance between Sarkozy’s plan and the existing Mediterranean Dialogue set up by NATO in 1994. Numerous Maghreb states have already signed partnership agreements with NATO. In other words, the Mediterranean Union would be but a political superstructure over a military organisation which already exists and which is under US leadership. Sarkozy is known to be extremely friendly to the US and Israel (the Israeli president has just been in Paris, the first head of state to be received with full honours since Sarkozy was elected last year) and his plans therefore resemble those which led to the creation of the original EEC which was also set up on the back of an existing US-led military structure (NATO was created in 1949, the European Coal and Steel Community in 1951).

The goal of Sarkozy’s Club Med is therefore not, after all, to reinforce the geopolitical weight of France, but instead to consolidate the power of NATO and the United States over the Middle East. That is why Germany, America’s senior partner in Europe, was determined to be involved – and that is why Sarkozy has agreed to it. I predict that, in due course, he will agree also to another American policy, the accession of Turkey to the EU.
So, what does this have to do with Libya? Well, it was Colonel Muammar Qadaffi's boycott of the 2008 summit launching the new "Union" in Paris, and his attack on the plan that interfered with the manifestation of Sarkozy's brainchild.  Qaddafi compared Sarkozy's "Union" to the  Roman Empire, and that it will fuel Islamist terrorism and will be regarded as "imperialism" by many in Africa and the Arab world.
"We shall have another Roman empire and imperialist design. There are imperialist maps and designs that we have already rolled up. We should not have them again." -- Col Qadaffi in Tripoli, the Libyan capital, July 9, 2008
Libya is one of only five of Africa’s 54 countries that have not been integrated into U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM).

Federal Reserve Releases 29,000 Pages of Bailout Loans that Includes Libya.

Late last week, the court ordered the Federal Reserve to release (see download zip archive link)  29,000  pages of documents that contain the complete contents of the Federal Reserve Discount Window data on loans, from August 8, 2007 to March 1 2010.  Many of these loans bail out foreign banks during the height of the financial crisis in 2008. Moreover, some of those banks are even controlled by "repressive dictators" such as Qaddafi (Arab Banking Corp, 59% owned by the Libyan central bank at the time, received 46 different loans).  That's right, the 100% Libyan owned central bank that those "ragtag bunch of rebels"  shut down so easily  in order to  immediately establish a brand new national central bank (not to mention, the brand new national oil company) received lots of  bailout money!

Only one man, Sen. Bernie Sanders,  dared to question why billions of American taxpayer dollars bailed out a Libyan-owned bank.

Here is the emergency order that was issued by the Federal Reserve on Feb. 25, 2011, exempting the Arab Bank Corporation from the previous freeze order.

All transactions involving banks that are owned or controlled by the Govemment of Libya and organized under the laws of a country other than Libya are authorized...
So, let me get this straight. In our nation, poverty is escalating, our infrastructure is rapidly deteriorating, the middle-class is withering away to nothing, we're involved in three wars, yet, the only concern in Washington is balancing the budget on the backs of working families. Federal programs that provide suffering people basic needs and/or try to level the playing field, such as: early education, job training, post-secondary education, nutrition assistance for women and children, home heating programs for low-income people, planned parenthood, community health centers, e-gov, transportation, etc, will be slashed to the bone.

In the meantime, taxpayer subsidized banksters and corporate giants who are earning record breaking profits, continue to live off the dole. The pentagon continues to waste billions, not to mention, outright loses trillions of dollars ($2.3 trillion that Rumsfeld announced, went missing, 9/10/11).  Two-thirds of all US corporations pay no federal income tax, and almost all of the corporations continue to sit on trillions and trillions of dollars, refusing to hire, or invest any of that money back into the American economy. Despite this, slashing the corporate tax rate is top priority.

Foreign Banks Tapped Fed’s Secret Lifeline Most at Crisis Peak
The biggest borrowers from the 97-year-old discount window as the program reached its crisis-era peak were foreign banks, accounting for at least 70 percent of the $110.7 billion borrowed during the week in October 2008 when use of the program surged to a record. The disclosures may stoke a reexamination of the risks posed to U.S. taxpayers by the central bank’s role in global financial markets.

Fed Releases Discount-Window Loan Records During Crisis Under Court Order

The Federal Reserve released thousands of pages of secret loan documents under court order, almost three years after Bloomberg LP first requested details of the central bank’s unprecedented support to banks during the financial crisis.

The records reveal for the first time the names of financial institutions that borrowed directly from the central bank through the so-called discount window. The Fed provided the documents after the U.S. Supreme Court this month rejected a banking industry group’s attempt to shield them from public view.

Libyan Rebels Super-Heros?

They must be.  This "ragtag bunch of rebels," enveloped in obscurity, have already established a new national oil company and a new central bank of Libya! They are truly magical.  So, why on earth do they need our help?

Well, could it be that the previous Central Bank of Libya (CBL), was 100% state owned? One of only a very few state-owned central banks in the entire world that owns and issues its own money. This means the international bankers  actually had to go through the state-owned bank, and its national currency. How humiliating to be stripped of your power like that!!

Then, of course, there is Libya's vast reservoirs of water, and their top-quality crude...in fact, so top quality, that it takes three barrels of Saudi Arabian crude to equal one barrel of Libyan crude.

So, these super-hero rebels are not super-heros at all. They more than likely work for the super parasitic predator class, and the latest invasion is simply one more take down in order to substitute a neo-liberal capitalist ruling class that will transfer everything over to multi-nationals.

Libya's Great Man-Made River Project

Did you know about Libya's Great Man-Made River Project or "eigth wonder of the world"?

Well, unbeknownst to me, Libya has enough water to hydrate farms and people throughout the entire desert  north of Africa and most of the Middle East for the next 500 years and beyond. Not only that, they've developed a way to distribute that water in the largest water project ever undertaken, by constructing a huge network of pipelines to transport the "fossil water" - found underneath the desert - to the coastal cities, where most Libyans live.

It all began back in the 1960s, during oil exploration deep in the southern Libyan desert, when vast reservoirs of high quality water was discovered in the form of four aquifers. Under the guidance of Qadhafi, a series of scientific studies were conducted to see how to bring this water to the people, and in October of 1983, the Great Man-made River Authority was created and "invested with the responsibility of taking water from the aquifers in the south, and conveying it by the most economical and practical means for use, predominantly for irrigation, in the Libyan coastal belt".
"The Great Man-Made River, as the largest water transport project ever undertaken, has been described as the "eighth wonder of the world". It carries more than five million cubic metres of water per day across the desert to coastal areas, vastly increasing the amount of arable land. The total cost of the huge project is expected to exceed $25 billion (US).
[...]
The goal of the Libyan Arab people, embodied in the Great Man-Made River project, is to make Libya a source of agricultural abundance, capable of producing adequate food and water to supply its own needs and to share with neighboring countries. In short, the River is literally Libya's 'meal ticket' to self-sufficiency.
And, guess what? They didn't borrow one cent from International banks.
The river is a new lesson and an example in the struggle to achieve self-sufficiency, food security and true independence. No nation that depends on a foreign country to feed its people can be free. The Great River is a triumph against thirst and hunger. It is a defeat against ignorance and backwardness. It reflects the determination of Libyans to resist colonial pressure, to acquire technology, to develop, to improve their lives, and to control their own destiny in accordance with their own free will." -- Ali Baghdadi
So, now, the "humanitarian" thing to do is invade, destroy and wipe out, not only the people, but the "eighth wonder of the world"? Oh, wait, that's right, the term, humanitarian, in doublespeak, is defined as mean, inhumane, malevolent, uncharitable, unkind, unsympathetic. That makes a lot more sense.

Bombing Civilians to Save Them?

"Nearly 100 civilians have been killed so far in the airstrikes launched by major Western powers," Libyan government spokesman Mussa Ibrahim said in the capital Tripoli on Thursday. Really? I wonder how many civilians are dead, almost three days later.

What sort of "humanitarian bombing" campaign kills or injures far more than it saves?   I mean, we're told that Qadhafi forces are bombing the country's hospitals. But, where is the supporting evidence?  Why do we accept what the mainstream media reports as if they're not controlled by the same powers bombing whoever they deem,  profitable?

"This is a memo that describes how we're going to take out seven countries in five years. Starting with Iraq, Syria, then Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and finishing off, Iran." -- General Wesley Clark, March 2, 2007
