Hemp Harvest Protest in front of White House

David Bronner, president of Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap, and an affiliate of Vote Hemp, locked himself in a cage in sight of the White House, and pressed hemp oil from hemp plants in order to prove hemp is not marijuana, nor does it produce any kind of high. Of course, the DC police arrested him.

Bronner said he was waging a "beer bet" with President Obama that the hemp plants are not marijuana and have no drug value. The plants were grown from Canadian hemp seed, and under Canadian regulations, hemp can have no more than 0.3% THC, meaning the plants have no use as a medicinal or recreational drug.

"The industrial hemp plants I am harvesting and processing into oil cannot produce a high of any kind, but according to the Obama administration I'm in possession of approximately 10 pounds of marijuana," said Bronner. "President Obama's US Attorney who handles drug cases in Washington, DC will not be able to prove my hemp has any more drug value than a poppy seed bagel. The Obama position on hemp is not science-based or good for the US economy. We've lobbied and campaigned for over a decade and feel abandoned by our president, who as an Illinois state legislator voted twice for hemp cultivation."

Domestic Spy Program Bigger than White House Admitted

The top intelligence official, Mike McConnell, Director of National Intelligence, for the Bush Administration has admitted that the domestic surveillance program created after 9/11 was only a small part of a program that had much broader implications than President Bush was willing to disclose initially.

"Bush acknowledged the existence of a program that monitored domestic phone calls and e-mails without court oversight in December 2005. The administration has not confirmed other secret spying efforts reported by news outlets, such as one that searched millions of telephone records."

Wouldn't it be Great if We Could All Cite Executive Privilege ?

President George W. Bush, once again cites executive privilege in order to dodge accusations that his administration fired nine federal prosecutors because they refused to "tow the line." He rejected a subpoena for requiring Karl Rove testify to the Senate Judiciary Committee in an investigation over fired federal attorneys.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy made available to Reuters, the letter Fred Fielding wrote to him explaining why Karl Rove is immune to testifying before Congress:

"Mr. Rove, as an immediate presidential advisor, is immune from compelled congressional testimony about matters that arose during his tenure and that relate to his official duties in that capacity,"

Member of Congress Denied Access to Plans For After a Terror Attack

Peter DeFazio, member of the U.S. House on the Homeland Security Committee, D-Ore, was denied access by the White House, when he asked to see the plans for what the US government's course of action will be after a significant terrorist attack.

Vulture Funds Fund Rudy Giuliani's Run for the White House

Vulture funds buy up the debt of poverty-stricken nations at bottom of the barrel prices, when the debt is about to be wiped out, and then turn around and sue the poor nation for the full value of the debt plus whatever they feel like charging in interest.

Recently, Mr. Bush forgave Congo its outstanding balance; yet at the same time will not prevent vulture funds from massively profiting off Congo and countries like them, eradicating any benefit his debt relief would have provided. It appears as if George Bush is clearing the path for the vultures to swoop down on these ailing nations and finish them off.

Haunted by the horrific images from Sudan, Carter committed suicide in 1994.


Empowered by the US Constitution, Mr. Bush can stop these heinous vultures from picking the bones of the poorest of the poor with the stroke of a pen, if they are interfering with America's foreign policy. Singer, who is suing Congo for many times the amount of the money owed to profit one-thousand times over, is interfering with Bush's attempt to relieve that part of the world its outstanding balance.

Rudy Giuliani's biggest contributor, is Paul Singer, who runs the hedge fund, Elliott Associates, founded in 1977 and one of the oldest hedge funds under continuous mangement. Elliott Associates came under fire in 2001 when it refused to accept Brady Bonds, (In the late '80s and early '90s, U.S. Treasury Secretary Nicholas Brady created a broad-based debt restructuring plan, in which the severely indebted nations agreed to issue a transitional bond, called a Brady bond, and many major private lenders agreed to accept these bonds in a swap for their outstanding loans.) instead of the full amount owed to them.

"Mr Bush has the power to block collection of debts by vulture funds, either individual ones or all of them, if he considers it to be at odds with US foreign policy, in this case debt relief for poor countries."
