Half of all child porn is produced in America, and child porn and/or child trafficking is the fastest growing crime in America. Estimated to be anywhere from $3-$20 billion industry, it grows at a rate of 150% per year!
Unfortunately, our Department of Justice doesn't seem all that interested in this issue. In fact, if you work directly for Eric Holder, and you're caught viewing child porn on the taxpayer's dime, it's all good, apparently, because Holder refuses to prosecute.
Below, Prof Lori Handrahan of American University outlines cases where U.S. military officials with top security clearance, members of the judiciary, the police, and the foreign service are being protected by the Department of Justice when they are caught using child porn and discusses the IRS Whistleblower Program.
In addition to the 5,200 Pentagon employees with child porn on their work computers--1,700 of which have never been investigated--here are a few examples of federal employees, or government contractors arrested for engaging in child pornography:

Good news for the gaming industry, bad news for our future as human beings. Why? Well, simply put, the "Playstation mentality" in modern warfare. In an age where almost anyone can be taught to use a joystick and fly unmanned aircraft capable of taking out large groups of people using remote control, being raised on video games like "Call of Duty" or "Halo" are literally training and desensitizing these children to the blood and guts-- a trophy in "Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified," requiring the player to earn 3 stars in each Operation--of warfare.
Take the futuristic tale, Ender's Game, a "science fiction" novel by Orson Scott Card, where government agencies breed child geniuses and train them as soldiers in an artificial or virtual community of young boys, aged 5-12-years old. The ultimate agenda is to create military leaders, some might even say genocidal dictator superheroes, albeit, with "good" intentions, who will, one day, save the Earth from an alien enemy. The problem with this sci-fi novel is that the ultimate sacrifice is made: all the qualities that make us human, and separate us from not only animals, but machines. Unfortunately, this book is not unique. The negation or degradation of that which makes us human is a theme that permeates pop culture today.
Remember, it is said that the most dangerous "soldiers" are child soldiers, more specifically, 6-year old boys with guns. Why? Guns are toys to 6-year old boys, and "killing" people is fun because they have not yet grasped the finality of death. So immersing them into a virtual reality of "kill or be killed" will almost certainly prepare them for the military, making it much easier to condition these young men to kill, especially when situated 7,000 miles away, in what appears more like a theater of war, where the victims are reduced to the status of players in a video game, shielded from the dismembered body parts in the aftermath of strikes, rather than plunged into the blood and guts warfare of the front line.
In a nutshell, movies, books, television, and most disturbingly of all, violent video games, condition concepts of profit, status, technology/technological development, violence, and/or anything that defines our materialistic, scientific world trumps humanity every time.
"You don't have to be a qualified fighter jet pilot anymore to be allowed to fly these things - or an officer. Thousands of young enlisted soldiers - many as young as 18 - are being trained to fly these aerial vehicles and the US military just can't get enough of them.
"Is it a bit like playing a video game?" I asked as I handled the joystick. It is they admitted - although everyone was at pains to stress that doesn't mean they don't take their job seriously.
Even the trainer admitted its easier to teach the "video game generation" and told me that all those hours they'd spent in their bedrooms - being nagged by their mothers to do something more productive - was now paying off.

The US military are now so addicted to the use of these drones they call them "army crack". One hit and you are hooked they say. Ground forces now don't want to leave their bases in Iraq and Afghanistan without those "eyes in the sky" above their heads.
So is "Ender's Game" really science-fiction? Maybe when it was written, but certainly not now. The book’s premise—that training children for war through playing video games —has left the realm of science fiction and has, in fact, become a reality.

Unless you've been "lucky" enough to navigate the U.S. legal system without wealth power and status, you probably think our system of "justice" is just. That it works very much the way you've been taught in school and watched on television/movies. You are most likely very naïve to its often arbitrary and often corrupt ways, and believe that this system will be there for you should you ever need it. Unfortunately, because of your overall trust in the system, you may find yourself inadvertently subjected to a nightmare should you ever get caught up in its web, or even turn to it for help.
Let's take family court and "Child Protective Services" (CPS) because most of us are part of a family. You are not probably not aware of of how many entities profit from the time a child first enters the “system.” You are probably unaware of the techniques CPS, attorneys, and the courts use to ensnare you. You are probably unaware of the countless victims who have lost everything, who were once as naive as you--and at one time, me. Here, ignorance is not bliss, it's downright dangerous.
In 1974, under the guise of "in the best interest of children," The Child Abuse and Prevention Act (CAPTA) was created, giving birth to Child Protective Services, which sanctioned state and community surveillance of families. And although it was was sold to the American public as an agency that will combat child abuse and neglect, it appears the primary reason for its creation may have been much more nefarious. Even Walter Mondale, the man who promoted CAPTA expressed concerns that it could lead states to create a "business" that deals in children, and that's exactly what happened The results speak for themselves, an industry that grows more profitable by the day
Over a decade later, more legislation was enacted that bolstered the profits of this new industry, once again promoted under the guise of the state's "paramount concern" for children's health and safety. In 1997 President Clinton passed the "The Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997" (ASFA). ASFA created cash incentive bonuses for every child adopted out of foster care. Moreover, this initiative not only gives the cash adoption bonuses to the states, it also provides cash adoption subsidies to adoptive parents until the children turn eighteen. In a press release from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (November 24, 1999), it states, "President Clinton’s initiative to double by 2002 the number of children in foster care who are adopted or otherwise permanently placed."
So across the nation families are being ripped apart and children removed from their homes with little or no reason (caseworkers invent reasons). Why? Because their jobs depend upon it. In order to maintain employment, in most states, a child protective services social worker must take a certain number of children into custody… therefore, I'm sure the question “What can I find out about this family to build a case aimed at taking their kid?” enters their mind, either consciously, or subconsciously. Or, the social worker may offer some kind of deal to the parent, "You can keep your kid IF you agree to these “services” (psychological testing, drug testing, therapy, etc.). Because child protective services funding is closely tied in with “service providers”, so they will try every trick in the book to get you to agree to their “service plans”. In other words, never let them in, never let yourself or your child be interviewed, never sign anything no matter what they say.
The other dirty little secret is that the state offers plenty of incentive to unnecessarily drug foster children. Because children are often traumatized when taken away from their family, foster parents are strongly encouraged to get these kids into therapy, which, nine times out of ten, results in children as young as two-years old taking powerful psychotropic drugs, and oftentimes, more than one. In Texas, two out of three foster children are on these drugs. One child was on 17 different medications!
You see, not only are all therapies for foster children reimbursed by the Federal Social Security Fund--that's money for doctors, county, state, etc., and let's not forget Big Pharma--foster and adoptive parents get paid EXTRA for housing "special needs" children. And what makes a child "special needs"? When they're prescribed psychotropic drugs. Taking in foster children has become very lucrative, often incentivizing adults to take in children who would otherwise never consider foster parenting. They're called "child collectors," as they do it only for the money.
Currently, one in 25 families will be investigated by CPS, either for child neglect or abuse. Of course, there are good caseworkers, and good outcomes, however, in the custody of CPS, a child's chances of being abused or killed increase drastically. According to Nancy Schaefer a Georgia State Senator who has spoken on behalf of these families, a Georgia State Senator that was murdered under very suspicious circumstances said, "Caseworkers are often guilty of fraud. They withhold and destroy evidence and seek to terminate parental rights unnecessarily."
The simple truth is that removing children from their homes permanently has become very profitable for social service agencies, state employees, lawyers, court personnel, court investigators, evaluators and guardians, judges, and CPS contracted vendors such as counselors, therapists, junk psychologists, residential facilities, foster parents, adoptive parents, and the list goes on...
However, profit may not be the only motivation here. To be sure, family preservation and reunification efforts are under assault to the point that might suggest that there may be an all out War on Family that the powers that be convinced us is the fault of "gay marriage," "welfare queens"...anything but the fact that it's the result of their manipulations over the decades. If you think that's crazy, consider that in less than 40 years, we went from being able to comfortably raise relatively large families with one parent working to barely able to keep our heads above water with much smaller families and both parents working.

We've all heard the "rumor" that Jerry Sandusky and the Second Mile were pimping out young boys to wealthy donors. Whether it's true, or not, the fact remains that the biggest dirty "little" secret in the world is that pedophile networks are an integral part of our current power structure. The dirty "little" secret is that some very rich, powerful, and often trusted individuals or groups of individuals run these networks. The dirty "little" secret is that children are as much a commodity as narcotic drugs and firearms/weapons. In fact, they're much more valuable as, unlike weapons and drugs, children continue to earn income, day after day, year after year. These three commodities alone are estimated to produce $1 trillion per year, if not more.
Regarding the Sandusky case, via a July 19 interview with Greg Bucceroni, currently employed as a school police officer in the Philadelphia, Pa. school district while also volunteering with the District Attorney’s office, Bucceroni told a reporter,
“In 1979 and 1980—when I was 13 and 14 years old—a well-connected pedophile named Edward Savitz took me on trips from Philadelphia to TSM fundraisers. I knew the minute I got there it was a breeding ground because of Savitz’s involvement. While [Jerry] Sandusky interacted with wealthy donors, the other men were sizing-up kids. I felt like a cheap whore because I was in these naked pictures that Savitz was passing around.”
When asked how certain he was in regard to these claims, Bucceroni replied, “I’m sure of it. Savitz talked about taking kids from Philly to TSM and introducing them to men—soliciting them to ‘his friends.’ They exchanged and swapped kids like baseball cards. It was a feeding frenzy. I felt like a prostitute or a go-go dancer at a bachelor party. I felt dirty, used and cheap.”
When it came to TSM’s founder, Bucceroni didn’t overplay what happened. “Savitz introduced me to Sandusky on two separate occasions, but he didn’t come across like a pedophile. The other guys at these functions, though, were different. I could tell from their body language what they had in mind. When I met him, Jerry was a like a movie star. Everyone called him ‘Coach.’ After Savitz hand-delivered my enrollment forms to him, Jerry grabbed me by the shoulder—not in a sexual way—and said, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll take care of you.’ Savitz told me that Jerry would take kids to football games.”
Sexually abused victims who testified at the Sandusky trial in Bellefonte, Pa. confirmed this point.
Now, why no mention of this in the Freeh Report?
Globalized pedophile networks function not only to line the already lined pockets of the immensely wealthy, but to ensure the immensely wealthy and powerful stay immensely wealthy and powerful. That is, to blackmail others - politicians, celebrities, corporate executives, etc. - into submission. This, of course is nothing new; however, is gradually being exposed by certain non-affiliated groups of people.
The Institute for the Study of Globalization and Covert Politics (ISGP) is one of those groups. They started a project that ran from 2004 to 2010. It was a successful attempt to analyze the various elites of the western world, and to see how they interact with both each other and national governments.
They came to the conclusion that the "people who have been accused of running the Cold War through means of drug trafficking, arms trade, false flag terrorist attacks and coups, coincidentally also seem to be at the core of pedophile entrapment networks."
They also found "a clear pattern in international accusations of a cover up in child abuse networks when looking at the liberal establishment." Establishments such as Bilderberg. From Henry Kissinger to David Rockefeller, there have been accusations. None other than "Bilderberg chairman Etienne Davignon, the European pillar of the Bilderberg group and a good friend of Kissinger, was named as a child abuser."
Some of this stuff sounds like something out of the darkest of Grimm's fairytales. Hunts on children that take place on castle grounds. Maurice Lippens, who regularly goes to Bilderberg and the Trilateral Commission meetings is among those accused of having participated in hunts on children, in this case at Chateau de Chimay.

A British man of Taiwanese origin,has been arrested by the Thai police for having six roasted human fetusesin his luggage. Reports say he intended to sell the fetuses in Taiwan where some believe they would bring luck and wealth. He could have made about $40,000
The fetuses were wrapped in gold leaf which led the police to believe that they were meant to be used in a black magic ritual called Guman Thong, which translate to 'golden child'. A traditional Guman Thong is made from the dead baby of a woman who died in childbirth.In the past, monks would cut the baby's body out of the mother', which they had exhumed from the grave, performed a ritual over it and then baked it. The recent arrest, along with the 2,000 fetuses found hidden in a Buddhist temple morgue that appear to have come from illegal abortion clinics.over 2,000 fetuses found in a Buddhist temple in Thailand less than two years ago, has revealed that the ancient, illegal practices are still ongoing, catering to aninternational black market of the occult.
However, this is just the tip of a very dark iceberg. The "abortion industry" is a huge profit making business. On March 8, 2000, ABC's news weekly 20/20 produced evidence of "a thriving industry in which aborted fetuses women donate to help medical research are being marketed for hundreds, even thousands of dollars." Chris Wallace interviewed several people involved in the harvesting of fetal body parts and produced a price list from one firm, Opening Lines, offering fetal spinal cords for $325, fetal reproductive organs for $550, fetal brains for $999 (if less than eight weeks), and the like. A 1999 brochure from Opening Lines, a Division of Consultative and Diagnostic Pathology, Inc. stated purpose is to “maximize the utilization of fresh fetal tissue [they] process.”
Partial-birth abortion, much more risky to mothers, are favored over other late-term methods of abortion because it affords the greatest opportunity to profit from theharvesting of fetal parts. A hearing before congress revealed that most of the babies are 'harvested' alive, without anesthesia, to secure freshest organs.

In 1999, fifty U.S. company's purchased the stem cells, one company under the name American Society for Anti-Aging, and a company called Senomyx uses embryonic stem cells to test popular foods that we all eat. Pepsi just recently stopped using them , but Nestle, and Lipton are patrons of Senomyx. The latest company to hit the headlines is StemCells Inc, which has just gained federal approval in the US to harvest the brains from abortions, and use them in experiments.
I guess if you believe a fetus is not really a human, just a clump of cells, then you should have no objection to to this grisly industry. At the same time, I bet you can't help but feel a twinge of disgust. .

Victim One has been notified by police that he most likely will have to testify at a preliminary hearing scheduled for mid December in the Jerry Sandusky sex-abuse case.
One of the newly hired Philadelphia-area attorneys now representing the 17-year-old boy -- who was the first to come forward and the last of eight chronological victims outlined in a grand jury presentment against former Penn State assistant football coach Sandusky -- says one of the first tasks as the boy's attorney is making sure that testimony goes as smoothly as possible

Now, in addition to the PSU whitewash investigation, Freeh has been appointed to probe the MF Global Collapse.
It's common knowledge that Freeh is go-to guy when it comes to events that need covering up. In 2000, Bloomberg Businessweek published an article The Case against Louis Freeh detailing how the former FBI Director at the time, "bungled investigations of high-profile criminal cases and repeatedly misled probers and judges in legal proceedings." The article went on to say, "Freeh's FBI has tried to run roughshod over the civil liberties of ordinary citizens, demanding access to encryption codes and elbowing its way onto every PC in the country through its Carnivore project".
FBI Director Louis Freeh opposes U.S. encryption while admitting the U.S. is under digital attack. Freeh supported the mandatory Clipper project to bug America. Freeh's FBI also developed the intrusive Carnivore program, and Freeh has repeatedly testified that all encryption products should be banned. In fact, Freeh testified before the Senate on Sept. 3, 1997 that the Founding Fathers "did not foresee encryption."
Obviously, the FBI director flunked history class. The fact is the Founding Fathers knew very well of codes and ciphers. Jefferson, Franklin and even Washington used codes and ciphers for personal business. Paul Revere used the same techniques that, today, the director of the FBI proposes to ban.
President Bush has selected Freeh to continue as FBI director. Yet the FBI failed to detect the highest Russian agent in U.S. government service. Freeh policies and practices are anti-privacy, proven by his term with Bill Clinton.

Freeh served as general counsel of the former MBNA credit card company in Wilmington, Delaware along with top bank executive Ric Struthers, a Penn State graduate and major contributor still affiliated with the university. Struthers is also on the board of directors of The Second Mile charity. Freeh gave a speech in 2005 at a dedication of a new Penn State building that Struthers and his wife supported through a $2 million gift.
In 2006, Freeh left the credit card company as it was acquired by Bank of America Corp. According to an MBNA document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Freeh cashed out stock options worth over $20 million, not counting his annual compensation.
Freeh also served on the board of Fannie Mae before it was taken over by the federal government due to its insolvency in 2008, and on the board of Wilmington Trust Corp. until it was sold in 2010 after its share price collapsed due to bad real estate development loans in Delaware. Freeh currently serves as a member of the audit committee of Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., the drugmaker.
MBNA became the largest independent credit card issuer by landing college alumni and other group members as customers through lucrative arrangements that included giving the company access to alumni and student addresses and using college letterheads and mascots in marketing campaigns. Penn State, along with the National Football League and the National Education Association, was one of MBNA's biggest sources of profitable credit card debtors, company executives said at the time. Freeh didn't immediately return a call left at his Wilmington office.
Freeh is not the only former MBNA official with an important role at an institution trying to cope with the scandal.
One of his former superiors at MBNA, Ric Struthers, is the most prominent national business figure on the board of the Second Mile Foundation, the charity started and formerly run by coach Sandusky. (Fielding notes Freeh knew Struthers, but didn't report to him; he reported to MBNA's top boss, who at the time was company founder Charles Cawley. Struthers held the top job after Cawley's retirement. Freeh's duties at MBNA included lobbying Congress to make it harder for bankrupt consumers to write off their unpaid credit card bills, and marketing credit cards to police and other law enforcement groups.)
Struthers, a 1977 Penn State graduate, played a key role in managing the business relationship between the Penn State Alumni Association and MBNA. The bank paid the alumni more than $30 million for its mailing lists and other marketing aid in its credit card solicitation campaigns from 1994-2010, as I reported in this space last year after the university was forced to disclose the payments by a change in federal law.
Struthers collected more than $10 million a year in stock and cash pay from MBNA in the bank's final years; he donated $2 million to the bank's 2002-05 capital campaign. He held a series of executive jobs at MBNA and ran it with other operations as chief executive officer of the nation's largest credit card operation, after its purchase by Bank of America, until his job was eliminated last year.
Besides paying the alumni group $30 million, "from 1998 to 2002, MBNA also agreed to pay Penn State an additional $500,000 a year to ensure that it didn’t make deals with other banks and that football coach Joe Paterno kept up his end of another MBNA marketing agreement. Terms of Paterno’s deal weren’t disclosed," as I noted in my Philadelphia Inquirer column last year. Struthers didn't immediately return a call to his home.
Like the driest of paper, the Penn State investigation was so close to bursting into flames that all it took was an infinitesimally small spark: one random message on a PSU football message board, to re-ignite it. This message conveyed the idea that there might be a PSU coach who saw something, but wasn't talking, which led investigators to Mike McQueary, who finally opened up about what he knew about Jerry Sandusky's sexual abuse of children. Although, it's been suggested that the case was kept under wraps until after Joe Paterno broke the record for wins by a Division One coach; however, even if that is true, it goes way beyond Paterno.
The circumstances surrounding this case - Sandusky's confession in 1998, Gricar’s dropping the case against Sandusky in 1998, the silence of all those powerful men at Penn State that knew of Sandusky’s perversion, Gricar’s disappearance and the Second Mile Foundation - leads those of us with inquiring minds to think that this may have been an open secret, a cover-up, but the very fact that PSU wants to investigate itself, will undoubtedly transform this possibility into probability in those inquiring minds. There needs to be an investigation by someone who has no association whatsoever with the PA political structure. There is no doubt that this went on thanks to the complicity of law enforcement and people in high places, in on the cover-up.
Moreover, Governor Corbett's decision to approve a $3 million dollar grant to the Second Mile charity,, while he knew about the Sandusky sex abuse investigation during his time as attorney general demands that an independent third party investigate this matter.
The problem is finding someone(s) with the appropriate credentials, without any affiliation to Penn State, and in my humble opinion, without any affiliation to Pennsylvania at all. Everyone will be satisfied once Sandusky gets what's coming to him without realizing that the organized abuse of children - elite pedophile rings - is a reality, that goes way beyond Sandusky. And by the very nature of these rings, they are protected by a vast network of high profile people with an abundance of power. By now, everyone is familiar with the firestorm of controversy that surrounds the Murdoch media empire, and it's about time considering the News of World phone-hacking schemes has been unfolding for six-years. It was The Guardian's revelation that News of the World had hacked into a teenage murder victim - even erasing the victim's voice-mails, giving the family false hope that she was alive - that broke the story wide open. News of the World also hacked the voice-mail accounts of victims of the London subway terrorist bombings in 2007. However, up until this point, the focus has been on the other side of the Atlantic. Granted, Rupert Murdoch's incestuous relationship with the British government is no secret. In less than a year, there were 125 major lunches between the Cameron government and the Murdoch people. But what about Murdoch's American empire?
Ten years ago, Murdoch set his eyes on Floorgraphics (FGI), a company that sells advertising on the floor of supermarkets. Murdoch sent Paul Carlucci, president of News America (media arm of US Murdoch empire), to meet with the owners of FGI to make them an offer they couldn't refuse, but the owners, George and Richard Rebh (brothers), did, in fact, refuse. Carlucci, in typical mafioso form, threatened to destroy them, and over the next few years, that's exactly what happened: News America hacked into FGI's database, and used the information to steal away their clients, such as Safeway.
FGI hired a computer expert who traced the hacking to News America. In 2004, FGI petitioned Chris Christie - New Jersey’s large-and-in-charge governor- then a U.S. attorney, to launch a criminal investigation into the alleged hacking, but the future governor of New Jersey refused to file charges. The case went to trial in 2009, and after one week, it resulted in Murdoch purchasing FGI for $29.5 million.
FGI was not the only victim of News Corp. Valassis Communications, Inc claimed Murdoch's tactics caused $1.5 billion in damages. They ended up settling for $500 million
Insignia Systems, Inc. was seeking triple damages on its antitrust claim, alleging that it lost hundreds of millions of dollars as a result of anti-competitive behavior by the News America Marketing unit. They ended up settling for $125 million.
Insignia claimed that News America entered into exclusive contracts with retailers, paid the stores to boycott Insignia and used predatory pricing and bundling of advertising and promotion products, in violation of U.S. antitrust law.
Insignia also claimed News America disparaged it to customers, telling the consumer-goods companies that they would be throwing their money away by contracting with Insignia.
Sadly, News of the World reporter, Sean Hoare, who broke the was found dead a week after the story broke and his death declared not suspicious before they even did an autopsy. The heads of DOW and the Wall Street Journal have resigned, and 43-year old Andy Coulson, editor of News of the World, who left the company under a cloud only to become the media spokesman for Prime Minister Cameron, was arrested. The head of Scotland Yard resigned.
This hacking scandal may be the tip of what could be a Titanic sized iceberg that could sink not only News Corp, but also the “British/American Empire”. How? Well, not only does this scandal reveal an incestuous relationship that reaches into the highest corridors of power, it may expose the profoundly dark and sinister practices of some of the most powerful people on the planet. Let me get this straight. TSA has the resources/funds to scan and molest American citizens, under the guise of "protection" from potential terrorists, yet the DCIS doesn't have enough resources to investigate 1,700 of 5,200 Pentagon employees and contractors - including top staffers from the DOD and contractors at the NSA - listed as purchasing child pornography online...four years ago? Even better, of the 302 confirmed DOD employee/contractors, only 70 were checked out! Criminal "investigators", supposedly on the case, couldn't even answer as to whether the supervisors of these employees were notified.
Senator Charles Grassley, who investigated this issue, said if not for the few journalists exposing this story, the Pentagon would have continued to stonewall him.
Several individuals identified under Project Flicker used their DoD/govemment e-mail address, Fleet Post Office (FPO) military address, or Army Post Office (APO) military address to register for the child pornography websites. AUSA Smagala requested that DCIS assist in the identification of individuals affiliated with the DoD. Initiation of a joint project into this matter was initiated to provide short term assistance to EDVA and ICE. As DoD subjects were identified, information was provided to the DCIS office within the appropriate area of responsibility for action deemed appropriate. Coordination was made throughout the project with the appropriate Military Criminal Investigative Organizations.

OK, let's forget for a moment that allowing capital punishment for child rape is unconstitutional and "a disproportionately severe punishment for a crime where the victim is not killed", as the Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision yesterday. Let's forget that the testimony of children has been found to be unreliable as children are easily persuaded by others and have not yet developed a strong enough sense of who they are to stand up for themselves or others who may be wrongly accused. Let's forget that state sanctioned execution is premeditated murder, pure and simple. Let's focus on the child.
Child rape is an egregious crime against innocence and no doubt, scars the child for life. The road to recovery for that child will be extremely challenging and a burden no one should have to carry into adulthood. Statistics show that the person most likely to commit this crime may be the child's parent, sibling, or another significant individual in the child's life. Now, not only is this child traumatized by someone violating the very essence of who he or she is, they will carry the oppressive "guilt" of feeling "responsible" for the death of another human being, if what those in favor of capital punishment for child rape develops a national consensus. Not every child will feel guilty, however, it is well known that children oftentimes blame themselves for the behavior of adults or situations or events, they, in reality, have no control.
Nothing is more important than getting this type of crime reported and the crime of child rape is already underreported. If it is ruled that capital punishment is an option for people convicted of child rape, the reporting of child rape could all but disappear except in rare circumstances, putting children at a much higher risk of the perpetrator striking over and over again, possibly to the point of killing that child. Can you imagine how a child, just raped by someone he or she knows, and possibly loves, would feel knowing that that person could be put to death if he or she told someone? In addition, the adult responsible for the child may choose not to go to the authorities especially if the other adult responsible is a spouse, brother, sister, grandparent etc.
If everything aforementioned is true and it is, why do both presidential candidates disagree with the Supreme Court decision striking down the death penalty for child rapists? Do they really give a damn about the welfare of children or the Constitution? If anything both candidates, especially Obama, should be trying to curb the use of capital punishment as it has been proven over and over again not to deter crime, is more expensive and unfair, as it seems only to apply to people who can't afford justice, people of color being the main recipient. As Justice Kennedy pointed out the final analysis must be determined by the Supreme Court, "applying evolving standards of decency".
Republican John McCain called the ruling "an assault on law enforcement's efforts to punish these heinous felons for the most despicable crime.” Democrat Barack Obama said there should be no blanket prohibition of the death penalty for the rape of children if states want to apply it in those cases.

In a wealthy country like ours no child should ever die from a toothache. Our government literally throws billions of dollars at Iraq without blinking an eye, and then cannot account for any of it, yet 45 million people in the United States do not have health insurance and cannot afford the most basic health care. I wonder how many people those billions of dollars unaccounted for, much of it in cash, could have covered?
Some poor children have no dental coverage at all. Others travel three hours to find a dentist willing to take Medicaid patients and accept the incumbent paperwork. And some, including Deamonte's brother, get in for a tooth cleaning but have trouble securing an oral surgeon to fix deeper problems.
